April 22nd, 2026

Today was easier than the past two days and resulted in my biggest win of the week so far. However, the moves lacked strength, and with the MNQ at new highs, conditions could become unpredictable. Overall, it was a fairly straightforward day, and I didn’t have to stress much.

MNQ Chart

The first trade came right after the open. The MACD was moving downward, and price crossed VWAP and approached the hourly Williams Alligator, making it a valid setup. However, price didn’t follow through to the downside, resulting in a loss of -33.25 on each contract.

The second trade came quickly at 8:55 AM and was a move to the upside. The first contract hit a profit of 64.50, and I let the runner continue for a gain of 110.25. This was a strong upward move.

The third trade also moved in my favor but never reached the target. I exited when price crossed the red line, locking in about 17.50 profit on each contract.

The final trade came at 1:40 PM and resulted in a loss of approximately -11.50 per contract.

Price did continue higher afterward, but the MACD did not confirm the move, so I did not take another trade. Overall, it was a solid day, finishing with about $200 in profit despite some slippage.

Total Profit: $208.54
