September 21st, 2026

Today was a rough day. I missed almost every trade that mattered, and I’m honestly frustrated with myself because most of it came down to execution rather than the strategy itself.

I missed the first two opening trades, and then later I completely forgot one of my own rules: price can move beyond one line and still give me a valid setup at the next level. That’s something I need to fix immediately. Starting tomorrow, I’m going to set alerts at those levels because I’ve realized I respond much better when TradingView actually notifies me instead of relying on myself to constantly watch and remember every possible setup.

The frustrating part is that the trade I missed ended up running for most of the day. Once I realized what had happened, I tried to get involved late, which was a mistake, and I ended up only making $4.

What really hurts is seeing how much that original trade would have made. Based on where the market eventually moved, I potentially missed somewhere around $600–$700. That is difficult to look at, especially because one properly executed trade could have made a major difference in my week.

So yes, I’m disappointed. This one genuinely stings.

But the important distinction is that the strategy didn’t necessarily fail today — my execution did. I missed the setup, forgot a rule, and then chased the move afterward. Those are specific problems that I can actually correct.

The lesson for tomorrow is simple: set the alerts, follow the rules exactly, and don’t chase a trade after it has already left without me.

Today is over. I missed the move. There’s nothing I can do about that now.

Tomorrow, the job is just to show up again and execute the next valid setup correctly.
