Day 64 - The Charts Were All Over

It was a bit of a struggle today. NQ opened with some huge bars, so I stayed out, and in hindsight that was probably the right decision because the moves likely would have stopped me out anyway.

For most of the rest of the day, price just bounced around inside value, so there really weren’t many good opportunities to trade. Overall, it ended up being a very quiet day for me. I did take one breakout trade on MES, but aside from that, there wasn’t much worth getting involved in.

I took a trade on MES once it broke out of value, but within the next 10 minutes, price quickly moved back inside value, so I exited and stopped trading it.

I also could have taken a trade on MNQ, but I didn’t fully trust the move because price had been ranging beforehand. I decided to wait and see whether it would retest before committing.

The reality is that the best opportunity came around 7:30 a.m., when everything moved sharply higher. That was really the ideal place to enter.
