I got my first packing cubes about six years ago and I instantly fell in love with them. I remember the first trip I brought on my travels, when I went to the Bahamas, the security women in Freeport just gushed over them. And to this day I still use the packing cube system.
Now I travel mostly with a carry on but this system can work with big luggage as well. The idea behind packing cubes is to save you space and make your travel experience way more efficient.

Of course you can find packing cubes at other travel stores, but Amazon does offer a wide selection. I took a look at some of the reviews and having owned one why I think these would be good purchases if you decided you wanted a traveling cube system. This luggage set is for the person who wants the works in packing cubes. It comes with 8 packing cubes, which is a lot, a backpack and toiletry bag! For me this may be a little too much, but I actually think this is a good set to consider and the colors are certainly distinct. You may not need to use them for every trip, but having the choice to mix and match your packing cubes is what makes this set a good choice.

Initially I didn’t like the design at first since it’s perhaps a little too over designed on top but I actually like that there are many colors and prints to choose from. With most packing cubes there is not that much color or design, so that’s nice. This comes with 6 packing cubes making it easy to store in a backpack, carry-on or luggage. There is also a nice handle on top of the packing cubes for easy grabbing.

Okay, this one is a good choice for travelers who want to store their shoes and underwear as well as toiletries in separate packing cubes. This design is close to the first packing cube I got and I like that OEE has several different designs to choose from. This set just seems more classy and not as garish as I like. It comes with a large, medium and small packing cube that will suffice for any type of carry-on or luggage. Another cool feature I haven’t seen much is the inside straps in the packing cubes that will hold your clothes in place.

This set comes with 7 travel packing cubes in a nice blue color with mesh lining. I know some people love the mesh lining but it’s actually not one of my favorite looks however it does let your clothes breathe a bit more. This includes a multi-purpose pouch for things like phones, chargers and other accessories. Overall these are solid bags and I do like the design a lot.

These are the first set of packing cubes where I have seen a dirty and clean side one packing cube. That is actually how my packing cubes are set up and I love this design since you easily slip over your packing cube and store your dirty clothes while you’re traveling. I also love the sleek black look with a pop of blue in the lining. It’s very modern and stylish. Really a solid choice and one of my favorites.

Half mesh and half covered with plenty of colors to choose from, this packing cube set is a solid choice. The set comes in 5 different cube sizes, so you should be able to mix and match depending on your luggage size. Although the designs are basic, I do love that they have different colors for people who would like that.

First off I love these because they actually have some designs. Most of the packing cubes I looked at have no design really to them, and that’s a shame. As a traveler myself I want my luggage to look decent and well thought out. So I give props to these packing cubes because there is some design that was thought out. It’s also a pretty good deal and you get 3 packing cubes with an extra laundry bag.

I didn’t love the design at first but it’s grown on me. The Shake Pak comes with 4 packing cubes, all in different sizes. The wrap that the pack comes in can also be used for shoes or dirty clothes while on your travels, which is convenient. I do love that these packing cubes come in different colors with even different color lining on some.

This “pro set” has 10 pieces, ranging from small cubes to large cubes. I think you probably won’t need 10 sets but come to think of it sometimes I wish I had a little more storage small items and pieces of clothing that are delicate. This would be a great option for a traveler who plans to bring a lot of even for a couple who really need to divide their clothes in one luggage. It comes in a blue and black uniform color or a mix and match of multiple colors.

These pieces are a nice alternative for any traveler that doesn’t need an extensive set. They come in many great colors and are actually all the same size. They’re actually a ton of great packing cubes currently listed and although some are similar a lot give different options for whatever type of traveler you are. For me I love packing cubes because they do keep your clothes compact and organized while you’re traveling. No more surprises at TSA when opening your bag and no more losing clothes every time you open your bag. Travel is all about efficiency and having packing cubes will help you become more efficient.
