ShawnVoyage is where I combine my love for travel and day trading. It’s for people who want to explore the world and also push themselves to do more.
The Traveling
I’ve been to around 80 countries and territories so far, and honestly, that started with my parents. They always made travel a priority, whether it was a big cruise or just a quick road trip. I used to look forward to every trip, no matter how close or far it was.
Now at 36, travel is still always on my mind. I don’t travel full time, but I’ve figured out a balance between working, saving, and then getting out to experience new places. ShawnVoyage is where I share those trips and hopefully get other people excited to do the same.
“Traveling is the great true love of my life… I am loyal and constant in my love of travel. I feel about travel the way a happy new mother feels about her impossible, colicky, restless newborn baby – I just don’t care what it puts me through. Because I adore it. Because it’s mine. Because it looks exactly like me.” – Elizabeth Gilbert

My travel style really depends on where I am. Sometimes I want the energy of a city, sometimes I want mountains, and sometimes I just want to completely unplug on a beach. I’ve done the budget side of travel too, sleeping in airports and staying in questionable hostels, but now I care more about quality. I try to travel well without spending a fortune. And yeah, I like to look good doing it. It just makes the whole experience better.
The Day Trading
I started taking day trading seriously in 2022, and it’s been a mix of frustrating and rewarding ever since. What started as curiosity turned into something I do every day. It’s strategy, discipline, and honestly a bit of adrenaline too.
My goal is simple. I want to become consistently profitable and eventually build my account to seven figures.
I mainly trade NQ and ES futures using a setup built around the Williams Alligator, ATR Bands, and MACD. Over time, I’ve shaped it into something that fits me. It’s structured, mechanical, and focused on high probability setups.
This is where I document everything. The wins, the losses, what I’m learning, and how I’m improving. Just like travel, I care about the process as much as the end result.
